The MECA Baseplate for the CUP 1 pedal set is a heavy-duty mounting solution that provides the extreme rigidity required for high-force load cell pedals. Because the CUP 1 brake pedal can handle up to 200kg of force, a standard flimsy pedal tray would flex, ruining your consistency and "muscle memory."

Here’s what makes this baseplate specific to the CUP 1:

Material: Constructed from 8mm thick carbon steel, significantly thicker than standard universal plates (typically 3–5mm).
Finish: It features a durable black powder-coated finish to resist wear and tear from shoes.
Weight: The plate itself is quite heavy (contributing to the full set's 15kg shipping weight), which helps dampen vibrations and ensures a rock-solid feel.

Unlike a flat plate with simple holes, the MECA baseplate has long horizontal grooves. This allows you to slide the individual pedals left or right to perfectly match your leg width or "heel-and-toe" preference. It includes a dedicated mounting area for the Leo Bodnar electronics box, keeping your cable management clean and protecting the delicate RJ11 connectors from being stepped on.
The plate is pre-drilled to fit standard sim racing cockpits and includes four aluminium spacer cylinders to slightly lift the plate off your rig's surface, if needed.
